- Split, merge, moveSplit a bill by dish or into equal shares, merge one bill into another, or move a bill to another table. Splitting by dish stops once anything is paid.

02In detail
Why does the floor need to be one live picture?
On a full night three people hold three maps of the room. The captain thinks table nine is free, the host seated it a minute ago, and the cashier is chasing a bill that moved twenty minutes ago. Each map is right for a moment, and the gaps between them are where a table is seated twice or a round of drinks goes unbilled.
CountStand keeps one floor. A tile changes when its table changes: seated, ordered, sent to the kitchen, billed, paid, cleared. The host stand, the captain’s phone and the till read the same tiles, so nobody has to ask the room what state it is in.
How do captains and the cashier share the work?
A captain opens the table on a phone, adds the dishes with their portions and add-ons, and sends them. The kitchen gets its ticket and the tile turns to In kitchen. The captain never walks to a terminal to key in an order written on a pad.
Money stays at the counter. Captains and waiters cannot take payment; the cashier prints the bill, takes cash, UPI or card, and the tile turns to Paid. Merging two bills is a manager’s or the owner’s call.
