Why does a single-source menu matter?
In most setups the menu exists several times over: once on the POS, again on the kitchen display, again on the QR ordering page, and again at each outlet. Change a price and you are now editing four or five copies, and the day you miss one is the day the counter charges ₹220 for a dish the QR page still sells at ₹200, and a guest is standing there with the screenshot.
A single-source menu removes the copies. There is one definition of every item, and POS, KDS, QR ordering and every outlet read from it. Change the price once and the change is everywhere at once, because there was never more than one place it lived. The menu stops being something you maintain in parallel and becomes something you edit in one spot.
How do I get my existing menu in quickly?
You should not have to retype a menu you already have. If it is in a spreadsheet, import it by CSV. If you are moving across from PetPooja, bring it in directly rather than rebuilding it item by item. Either way the goal is to start from your real menu, every category, item and price, on day one, instead of typing for a week before the system is usable.
