1Why CountStand
Restaurants in India run on patchy connections, thin margins and a tax calendar that does not stop. Most restaurant software records what happened. CountStand is built to keep the counter billing when the line drops, to split GST on every bill to the paisa, and to tell an owner each morning what needs them.
2Decisions he has made
A product is mostly the things it refuses. These are four of his decisions, and the product and this site follow each one.
- By invitation, not sign-up. CountStand opens by invitation, for one outlet or a group, and every application gets a reply within two working days.
- An agent reports; the owner signs off. No agent moves money, changes a price or sends a purchase order without a person.
- No sound anywhere. The till and the kitchen display are silent. A late ticket wears a red ring instead of an alarm.
- Prices in public. All three plans carry their price on the pricing page, and one outlet’s first 30 days are free, with no card.
